3.  How Long Will I Need To Pay Your Organization?

As long as you wish.  Most members begin to see improvement in their credit scores within the first 3-6 months. You should count on 12-16 months before your scores are where you want them to be.

Our newsletter and educational materials will be sent as long as your payments remain current, regardless if you use the additional free Score Monitoring Service.  This will keep you informed on matters that affect your credit score - even if we are not monitoring your scores.

4.  How Long Will The Process Take?

Most members begin to see improvement in their credit scores within the first 3-6 months. You should count on 12-16 months before your scores are where you want them to be.
We have a member in Georgia who’s scores have gone up over 160 points on two of the three bureaus. The other bureau had an increase of over 50 points. This happened in less than 7 months. Keep in mind, if you do something counterproductive to our efforts such as acquire new collection accounts, late payments, inquiries etc, your progress will be much slower.   Your results and experience may vary.

5.  What Do You Do?

Like most credit bureaus, we provide lenders with information on consumers in our database to assist them in the decision making process required to extend credit. We also help consumers stay informed on issues relating to credit ratings, credit reporting and credit scores. We provide members with the education, tools and assistance required to monitor and improve your credit scores.

6.  How Do You Repair Bad Credit?

By avoiding it to begin with!  Pay all debts on time, and pay them off if possible.  Again, we are not a credit repair company.  Our free Credit Score Monitoring Program entails a simple three-step process designed to help you raise your scores.  If adhered to, this process will dramatically reduce the length of time normally required to improve credit scores, and be educated on the steps needed to maintain high scores.  This three-step process is a “lather, rinse, repeat” cycle that will be replicated until you are satisfied with the results.

Step 1:  The first step is to obtain credit reports (with scores) from the three major bureaus (Experian, Equifax and Trans Union) and forward them to our Member Service Center.  Make sure the scores are Fico® Beacon® and Empirica® scores as these are the scores used by most lenders.  If you’re not sure how to obtain these reports, contact us.

Step 2:  Once these reports are received, we will compile and send you our exclusive credit report as well as a detailed Credit Score Analysis outlining the factors currently affecting your scores.

Step 3:  We will then initiate analysis and investigation (your help detailing items that are not accurate is required) into the factors that are affecting your scores.  This process also ensures the information we have on you in our database is accurate.  Your assistance is required to let us know what items are not accurate and/or provide documents needed to follow up with lenders.

“Lather, Rinse, Repeat”  (Repeat steps 1 – 3)

* Step one is repeated every 60-90 days after which we will send you another credit report or analysis containing a detailed comparison of your old scores with your new scores as well the factors affecting your scores.  The results of our score monitoring process are reported back to the subscriber and member and the process is repeated until the analysis and investigation is completed resulting in improved scores.

7.  Do I Need To Pay My Unpaid Debts/Collections/Judgments?

Yes!
You should pay all of your debts. If an entry on your credit has a balance and is removed from your credit report it will normally be reported again once the creditor transfers data to the credit bureaus. If the balance has been paid or settled, there is no reason for the creditor to continue reporting the account and the entry will usually remain off of the reports. Tradelines may remain on your credit 7 years from the date of last activity.  Public records such as judgments and tax liens may remain for up to 10 years. This does not mean we cannot help you improve your scores while you are negotiating, settling or paying off your debts. It also does not mean they will stay there for 7-10 years - only accurate information remains.  It simply means it may take more time to raise your scores. If you wait until you are ready to buy a home or automobile to work on improving your credit scores, you will probably be disappointed by rejection or denial of credit based on low scores.

8.  Why Must I Pay Only Through Credit Card Or Checking Draft?

Billing can be a costly endeavor for any company due to the fast paced lifestyle and the difficulty involved in contacting most consumers. In order to keep our program costs affordable we have simplified the billing process for you by automatically drafting your fees on the dates you have agreed to
pay. Since the majority of banks do not allow a debit against a savings account, we do not accept savings accounts as a form of automatic payment.
